Moscato d'Asti Vajra 2024

The Moscato d'Asti by Vajra is a sweet wine capable of surprising for its unique aroma, combined with a unique and compelling finesse. Elegant, charming, intriguing, soft, sweet, vibrant, articulate. It’s an unique floating notes typical of Muscat, with a seductive female really important. A taste that grows dramatically before delivering flowers and yellow fruit later. We are in the vineyard Riforno, in the municipality of Mango, a vineyard planted between 1986 and 2007, with an exposure to the South, on top of a hill. Vajra has always believed in sustainable agriculture, with a cover crop of vineyards, without irrigation and with thinning based on the natural vintage effect. Moscato is harvested in early September and is decanted cold before fermentation which lasts 7 days. Then remains in steel in order to preserve its natural effervescence. Giuseppe Vajra likes to call his Moscato as a "continuity of flavors between fruit and wine" that was born in a vineyard can "give us the wonderful aroma of this variety".
