Podere Ortica's 'Ago' is a red wine made according to the Chianti tradition of blending dark grapes such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino with white varieties such as Trebbiano. 'Ago' was created with the aim of producing an approachable wine that can be enjoyed throughout a meal and is perfect for drinking young. On the palate, it is light and dynamic, with delicate tannins and an inviting drinkability. The nose is fruity and floral with slight spicy notes. Pair with a platter of medium-aged cured meats and fresh cheeses

Hints of strawberry and blood orange, with notes of black pepper on the finish
