Monte Pio's Albarino 'Ledes' is a persuasive white from a 55-year-old single cru. The vines grow on sandy terroir and great minerality. After frequent racking, carried out exclusively by gravity, and almost two years on fine lees, this wine achieves great finesse and tension on the palate. The nose releases great aromatic complexity, with hints of fruit, lavender, honey and toasted hints due to ageing. On the palate it is round, pleasantly unctuous, with the marked savouriness typical of this area. Ideal with shellfish
Golden yellow
