Monte Pío's Albariño was born in the Rías Baixas, the flagship region of Galician wine. A typical expression of great freshness, the wine matures on fine lees to acquire roundness and body. The nose is very varietal, with hints of citrus and stone fruit that open to a brackish finish. On the palate, it is deep and fresh, sharp, with a textured mouthfeel and lively freshness. Ideal with fish and shellfish dishes
Intense straw yellow with greenish reflections
Green apple and typical peach, apricot, hints of lime and iodised finish
Taut and sharp freshness, savoury and fleshy sip
