The Albariño 'Valouta' from the Cabana das Bolboretas winery is made from grapes grown on century-old ungrafted vines, which have been preserved from phylloxera in the Rías Baixas thanks to the Atlantic climate and well-drained soils. The nose opens with aromas of fruit and white flowers, accompanied by vegetal notes of aromatic herbs and a delicate hint of toasted almonds on the finish, given by the long ageing in wood of part of the mass. On the palate, it is round and enveloping, with a crisp freshness and a salty finish that prolongs the taste. Excellent paired with Zarzuela de mariscos, a typical Galician stew of shellfish and molluscs
Bright golden yellow
Hints of white peach and hawthorn, salty notes, sage and toasted almond on the finish
Velvety, with a long savoury finish and lively freshness
