Fanny Sabre's Aligoté is a white wine made from grapes harvested in the village of Pommard, in northern Burgundy. This grape variety has been present in this area since the 17th century, but for a long time it was overshadowed by the more famous Chardonnay, even though it produces wines that are just as interesting. The bouquet has hints of fruit and white flowers, marked salty notes, and lactic hints on the finish accompanied by toasted notes. On the palate, it is decisive and reveals a vibrant freshness, typical of the grape variety, with a long salty finish. Perfect paired with scallop tartare with lemon zest and olive oil
Bright straw yellow
Notes of white peach and acacia flowers, hints of iodine and chalk, spicy hints of vanilla and toasted almonds on the finish
Tense, with a vibrant freshness and marked savouriness
