'Cornaline' Domaine Hauvette 2020

Domaine Hauvette's 'Cornaline' is a deep, ambitious red, silky yet structured. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and the versatile Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes come from mature vines grown on the best clay-limestone soils of the Alpilles, the Provençal Alps. In the cellar, it is aged in large old barrels, which are ideal for softening the palate without overly influencing the aromatic profile. The nose reveals dark fruit, spices and intriguing balsamic notes, while the palate is full, energetic and persistent, suitable for meat dishes and flavourful cuisine such as game or braised meats
