Marcalberto's Alta Langa Rosé Riserva 'Caterina Rivella' is an elegant and taut sparkling wine, born from a family project that dates back to 1993, when the Cane family began experimenting with sparkling wines in a region dominated by reds. The grapes are selected from the highest vineyards to enhance freshness, while the base wine ferments in barrels to achieve a unique level of roundness. The result is a rosé with a bright antique pink colour, enlivened by a very fine perlage. The nose reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, citrus fruits and slight spicy nuances. The palate is vertical, fresh, dynamic and savoury, with an almost imperceptible effervescence and a long finish, perfect for pairing with delicate fish dishes such as tuna tartare
Bright antique pink with coppery highlights, subtle perlage
Red fruits such as raspberry and wild strawberry open with lemon, pastry and slight hints of cloves
Vertical and fresh, rather savoury and very refined
