Amaro San Simone is based on a recipe dating back to 1583, handed down by monks from Turin and now produced using 39 selected herbs and roots. The artisanal process, which involves maceration and cold infusion, gives the liqueur an intense amber colour and aromas of bitter orange and liquorice, with balsamic nuances. It is balanced on the palate, with an enveloping sweetness that blends with a persistent and refined bitterness. Ideal as a digestif with ice or mixed
