Amarone della Valpolicella 'Santico' Santi is a robust red from the Veronese valleys and one of the winery's iconic wines. The typical Veronese vines, Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone, are dried for over 3 months and then aged for years in oak. The nose offers rich notes of cherry jam, blueberries, plums, then hints of toast and cocoa, a sign of the long passage in wood. On the palate, it is very structured, warm but with velvety tannins, a rounded taste and a pleasantly fresh finish. Ideal with savoury first courses based on game
