The Ancestral 'Cagundeu' from Mas de la Sabatera is a jaunty wine made from Parellada grapes, typical of Catalonia. After a short maceration, the wine finishes fermentation in the bottle where it develops a lively bubble, as per the Ancestral method. The nose releases notes of white fruit, wild flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is very fresh, with a juicy, flowing mouthfeel. Crisp, graceful and drinkable, it is perfect with boards of 'jamon' and ‘queso’
Light golden yellow
Orange and subtle hints of peach, macerated flowers like chamomile
Rustic and fresh, great drinkability and subtle tannin from maceration
