Belcolle's Barbaresco 'Pajorè' is one of Treiso's historic crus and owes part of its fame to Giovanni Moresco, who vinified it in purity in 1967. Vinification takes place in steel and is followed by extensive ageing in large oak barrels, according to the classic style. The nose opens with small red fruits, plum and cherry with sweet spicy nuances. The palate is delicate and velvety with very fine tannins and a fresh profile that supports the sip. Perfect with red meats and mushroom dishes, ideal with a porcini mushroom risotto
Bright garnet red
Beginning with ripe cherry, violet and mint, ending with cocoa and cloves
Harmonious, with good warmth and sandy tannins, very persistent
