Orlando Abrigo's Barbaresco Riserva 'Rongalio' is produced only in the best vintages, with grapes from the oldest vineyard in the Meruzzano cru. The nose is complex, with hints of wild berries, balsamic notes, spicy hints of cloves and toasted notes derived from long ageing in barrels for two years. On the palate, it is warm and structured, with firm tannins and a pleasant freshness. Elegant and powerful, it has great ageing potential. After a few years in the cellar, it is perfect with structured dishes such as braised venison with porcini mushrooms
Carmine red with garnet reflections
Elegant with notes of blueberries and raspberries, hints of wilted rose petals, mentholated hints, spicy hints of cloves and toasted tobacco
Harmonious and full-bodied, with great structure and distinct yet refined tannins
