Aurelj Vaira's Barbera d'Alba is a wine produced from a 0.5-hectare west-facing vineyard at an altitude of 390 metres above sea level. The vinification, expressly artisanal, uses whole bunches and whole destemmed grapes, arranged alternately in layers. The nose has fresh notes of cherry and violet, with a touch of sweet spices. The palate is fresh with soft tannins, try it with vitello tonnato
Intense ruby red with violet hues
Typical cherry and raspberry, then violet and spices such as cinnamon
Tannin tight but soft, with marked freshness and pleasant rusticity
