Bosco Samuele's Barbera d'Alba comes from old vines in Priocca and offers an intense yet balanced interpretation of Barbera. It is a red wine with good structure and great energy, despite already having a few years behind it. Submerged cap fermentation and ageing exclusively in concrete define a clean, direct and very fresh style. The nose reveals fresh raspberry and blackcurrant, with subtle spicy notes on the finish. The palate is full, harmonious and smooth. Surprisingly well-balanced, it is ideal with tajarin pasta with rabbit ragù
Deep ruby red with violet reflections
Fresh fruit with raspberry, currant and hints of violet, peppery finish
Very fresh, robust and warm, with remarkable balance and silky tannins
