BARDOLINO GIOVANNA TANTINI 2023 DESCRIPTION

The Bardolino Giovanna Tantini is a red wine that has its roots in the territory, becoming a reference point within the Garda area. We are faced with a label that arises from a simple approach, which aims to enhance the terroir through the use of indigenous grapes. A philosophy that, stated this way, seems obvious, but in reality it is not because it comes from a careful study of each element that characterizes the production process, allowing full expression to Corvina and Rondinella, varietals that come together in the final product. A distinctly fruity label, where the drink flows smoothly: a true pleasure.

This Bardolino is made by the Giovanna Tantini winery starting from a mix of two typical grape varieties of the area, Corvina and Rondinella. The vines of these varieties grow using the guyot system, in parcels exposed to the south characterized by a glacial subsoil where gravel, limestone, and alluvial debris mix together. The vinification takes place separately for each grape variety: fermentation takes place in steel containers at a temperature of 26 degrees, and lasts for 15-20 days, while malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously. The final aging has a total duration of 15 months, and takes place in steel.

The Bardolino Giovanna Tantini presents itself visually with a ruby red color, endowed with a good chromatic intensity. The nose is entirely played on delicate fruit notes, capable of enveloping the nostrils smoothly. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, harmonious, with a captivating sip that develops on the palate with a refreshing drink, inviting you to pour the wine into the glass again. It finishes with a good persistence. It is undoubtedly the main label of the entire production followed by Giovanna Tantini, a wine from the territory that tells with authenticity and precision the Venetian denomination of Bardolino.
