The Barolo ‘Dagromis’ by Gaja is a great red produced by an icon of Piedmontese wine and Nebbiolo. The vineyards were inherited from the Gromis family in La Morra, a legacy that the Gaja family carries on the western slopes of the ‘Langa’. A red that combines modernity and tradition, the aging indeed takes place partly in barrique and partly in large barrels. On the nose, it opens with notes of ripe cherry, dried rose and sweet spices, while on the palate it expresses warmth, fullness and silkiness. Perfect with large meat dishes
Deep garnet red with slight orange reflections
Red fruits like cherry and currant, followed by dried rose petals, cinnamon and cocoa, balsamic notes of mint
Broad, warm and velvety, with mature tannins and a long, harmonious finish
