Luca Marenco's Barolo 'La Volta' comes from a small vineyard of the same name near Barolo. After a long maceration, which takes place using the submerged cap technique, it matures in oak and then in the bottle for a long time. The nose is reminiscent of black cherry, dried rose and a touch of liquorice. On the palate, it is silky, with ripe tannins and a dry, persistent finish. Perfect with game and braised meats, it finds its maximum expression alongside a dish of hare salmì
Light garnet with orange reflections
Red fruits in jam such as black cherry and currant, then dried rose, liquorice and slight notes of tobacco
Elegant and enveloping, with ripe tannins, an austere palate and a harmonious, dry finish
