Travandasca's 'Balenazzurra' is an 'orange' wine with a marine and Mediterranean character. The winery was born as the dream of its three founders who, while waiting for their own vines to reach full maturity, produce wine with grapes from various friendly suppliers. Part of the mass ferments in contact with the skins for about ten days, while the rest is processed by direct pressing, creating a balance between structure and momentum. The nose reveals white spices and Mediterranean herbs, while the palate is taut, savoury and beautifully progressive. It pairs well with fish and vegetable dishes, and is excellent with fish soup or Ligurian-style rabbit
