
‘Paiele’ by Giovanni Menti is a fresh, easy-drinking wine, perfect as an aperitif during the warmer months. The family-run winery is based in the Vicenza area and began cultivating vines after the Second World War, gradually adopting biodynamic practices and a winemaking approach involving minimal intervention. On the nose, notes of white-fleshed fruit emerge, along with hints of hawthorn, vegetal notes and a touch of sweet almond on the finish. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a lively freshness and a savoury finish. Perfect with an octopus and potato salad
