Roka's Blaufränkisch comes from a young vineyard planted on the clayey slopes of Slovenian Styria, in an area with a long history of wine production. It ferments spontaneously in oak with long maceration and ages in barrels and amphorae for 18 months. The nose reveals blackberry, black cherry, peony and black pepper on the finish. The palate is structured, tannic and mineral, with a long finish. Perfect with red meat and game dishes, it is enhanced by a classic goulash
Deep ruby red with violet reflections
Attack with cherry, blackberry then peony, spicy finish of black pepper
Decisive, with noticeable tannins, savoury on the palate and long-lasting
