Bourgogne Chardonnay Nicolas Potel 2023

Nicolas Potel's Bourgogne Chardonnay is a clear and direct expression of a Burgundy Chardonnay. The vines are young, rooted in calcareous-sandy soils, and the grapes are vinified in steel only to accentuate freshness and fragrance. The nose reveals white flowers, apple and lemon zest, while the fresh, mineral palate offers balance and cleanliness. Excellent with sea bass tartare with citrus fruits

Colour

Light straw yellow with golden reflections

Scent

Initially white flowers such as jasmine and hawthorn, with hints of yellow apple and lemon zest

Taste

Soft, fresh and direct on the palate, with a pleasant savoury note

Temperature
8°-10°C
When to open
To enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied white wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
Longevity
You can leave it to rest in the cellar for 4-5 years
