Mark Haisma's Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from vineyards located in the Côte d'Or and northern Côte Chalonnaise. It is an elegant interpretation of the Burgundy grape variety, fermented in steel and then aged in barrels for up to 12 months to preserve the character of the grapes. The nose opens with notes of fresh red berries accompanied by floral hints, spicy and toasted notes from ageing in wood, with pleasant earthy hints on the finish that lend aromatic complexity. On the palate, it maintains a good balance between freshness and roundness, is juicy, with enveloping tannins, vivid freshness and a savoury finish. Excellent paired with pork tenderloin with red berries
Bright ruby red
Full-bodied, with notes of cherry and raspberry, hints of violet petals, spicy hints of nutmeg, toasted hints of tobacco and undergrowth
Fresh and dynamic, with silky tannins, lively freshness and a savoury, persistent finish
