Jerome Galeyrand's Bouzeron 'Les Clous' is a taut and luminous Burgundy white, focused on freshness and energy. It comes from the only Burgundy appellation dedicated to Aligoté, Bouzeron, a village in the Côte Chalonnaise. Twelve months of ageing in oak, with a small proportion of new wood, defines a modern style that respects tradition. The nose is clean, with initial notes of ripe yellow fruit and very intense iodine hints typical of the grape variety. On the palate, it is vertical, precise and persistent, with an intense savoury drive. Ideal with vegetarian cuisine and freshwater fish, such as vegetables au gratin or trout with herbs
Intense straw yellow
Fruity, apple and lemon open up to a typical salty finish
Tense and very savoury, crisp and very persistent
