Brunello di Montalcino 'Prètto' from the Giodo winery is a structured and elegant Tuscan red. The grapes grow on medium-textured soil, a balanced soil profile that gives structure and finesse at the same time. After a long ageing process, as per the regulations, it remains in the bottle to stabilise for about a year and a half. The nose offers clear red fruit, floral accents, earthy notes, fine spices and balsamic hints. The palate is tonic, juicy but tannic, balanced between tension and warmth. Try it with stewed wild boar
Bright, deep ruby red
Articulated, with cherry and raspberry jam, violet flowers, earthy and truffle notes, tobacco with balsamic nuances on the finish
Tonic, lively but warm, with noticeable but refined tannins
