Contumaz's Cabernet Sauvignon tells the story of Fernando Ugrin's personal project. This young oenologist works between Friuli and Argentina, both regions with a great vocation for Cabernet. The nose reveals aromas of red and dark fruits, pepper and light green notes of mint. In the mouth it is taut, with dense tannins and a mineral persistence that promises longevity. Ideal with roasts such as lamb with rosemary
Bright, deep ruby red
Dark cherry, black and red currant, black fig and cocoa, mint
Tight tannins but velvety, warm, well-balanced, balsamic sip
