Cabernet Sauvignon Le Ragose is an austere, long-lived red wine, produced from a small historic vineyard planted in the late 1980s. Long fermentation, highly extractive maceration and lengthy ageing in large oak tonneaux: the recipe for a deep, stylish red wine capable of evolving over time. The nose reveals intense aromas of dark fruit with pleasant herbaceous notes typical of the grape variety, integrated and complex. The palate is full and compact, with tannins that are present but well integrated and a solid progression. Ideal with red meats and flavourful cheeses, try it with a fillet steak with green pepper
Deep ruby red
Deep, with mulberry, hints of tobacco and black cherry, green finish with pleasant hints of green beans and mint
Very tannic but velvety, warm and round on the palate
