Fabio Ferracane's Catarratto 'Aggiara' pays homage to one of the symbolic containers of the artisan movement: the terracotta amphora. And as is traditional for this style, the white grapes macerate for a long time on the skins, in the same amphorae where they will finish ageing. The nose reveals intense notes of ripe citrus, yeast and almond. On the palate, it is full-bodied, savoury and fresh, with measured tannins and a pleasant 'funky' profile. It pairs well with stewed meats and flavourful fish such as grilled tuna or sweet and sour rabbit
