Bollinger's 'B16' Champagne is one of the most refined expressions of the latest Grand Crus and Premier Crus of the Montagne de Reims. A traditional wine, it is made entirely in barrels and bottled with corks, a rare practice in the cellar. The nose offers a very fine floral profile, followed by intriguing hints of bergamot and almond pastries. On the palate, it reveals a silky, balanced and persistent texture of great elegance. Excellent with both shellfish and white meats. The 'maison' has created a special Michelin-starred recipe to accompany it: Veal consommé with sweetbreads, lemon and fennel
Bright golden yellow with brilliant reflections and dense perlage
Floral with hawthorn, jasmine and acacia, followed by intriguing bergamot and lemon, honey and almond pastries
Silky and airy, rich and fresh, delicate on the finish with great persistence
