Odyssée's Champagne Brut Grand Cru 'Jour 1: Le Levant' is the first stop on the journey through all the crus of Champagne. The grapes are harvested from southern plots in Avize, facing east for early ripening. This wine matures a good eight years on the lees, the time needed to bring all the complexity of the terroir to this bubbly. The nose releases aromas of peach, pear and hawthorn, with delicate notes of iodine and mint. The palate is round and full-bodied, with a lingering finish enriched by saline nuances and balsamic freshness. Perfect for accompanying the entire meal, it pairs beautifully with a red tuna carpaccio with toasted almond
Golden yellow with delicate straw hues
White-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, with floral notes of hawthorn and iodine nuances and a menthol finish
Round, with a long, savoury finish and balsamic sensations
