The Krug Brut Champagne is a Vintage with a rich and generous profile, supported by a vibrant freshness. The choice of high-quality grapes and a 12-year aging process provide the pleasure of a high-class label, a perfect expression of the unique character of a great vintage. Always a symbol of elegance and allure, Krug offers bottles that have won over the most discerning enthusiasts. It is a Champagne particularly suitable for gastronomic pairings with roasted white meats, noble poultry, duck breast, and lemon confit meat tajine.

The Brut Krug is a Champagne resulting from a rigorous selection of grapes from prized vineyards of the estate. Pinot Noir (46%) constitutes the majority percentage and comes from plots cultivated in the Montagne de Reims Nord, Sud, and Le Ricey areas. The cuvée is completed by Chardonnay (37%) of great maturity and aromatic richness and by Meunier (25%) from Leuvrigny and SainteGemme. The grapes are vinified separately by grape variety and individual plot, so as to have a wide range of wines available for the final selection. The bunches undergo a very soft pressing and the free-run must is vinified in white. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a long aging on the lees of 12 years.

The Krug Brut Champagne is a bottle dedicated to those who love the strong and decisive style typical of the historic maison of Reims. In the glass, it presents a bright and luminous golden yellow color, crossed by an extremely fine and delicate perlage, with great persistence. Intense and rich, it seduces with mature aromas reminiscent of summer yellow fruit, hazelnuts and toasted almonds, sweet spices, hints of pastry, acacia honey, and a smoky and menthol finish. On the palate, it is structured, complex, with a deep and opulent sip, with a decisive length towards a very persistent finish and great mineral freshness.
