Gamet's Champagne Brut 'Rive Droite' comes from a mosaic of plots on the right bank of the Marne River, including 'La Fontaine du Curé' and 'Clos des Goulots'. The winery relies heavily on Meunier, the region's third-largest grape variety, often used as a tail-end but now increasingly sought after. The base wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to develop structure and roundness. Rich aromas of flowers and white fruit, slight hints of pastry crown the finish. Elegant, saline and persistent, perfect with savoury dishes or as a refined aperitif
Brilliant straw yellow with fine and persistent perlage
Typical ripe quince, then flowers like chamomile, hints of pastry and hazelnut
Fresh and taut at the onset, creamy in the centre of the mouth, ends savoury and soft
