Nals Margreid's Chardonnay 'Nama' is a great mountain white wine, capable of withstanding the harsh weather conditions. It was born from the desire to create a Chardonnay that would be the pinnacle of production and also the most faithful expression of the winery's terroir. Long ageing in small oak barrels for 18 months, followed by further resting in steel and in the bottle, gives shape to a concentrated and patient style. The nose slowly unfolds with notes of baked apple, ripe peach and hints of butter and flint, while the palate is creamy, dense and progressive, supported by a surprising freshness. The silky and elegant finish reveals a luxurious wine, to be paired with refined dishes based on turbot or guinea fowl
Deep golden yellow
Ample with peach, lemon jam, hints of butter, flint and a finish
Round, pleasantly unctuous, with great freshness and progression, enveloping and very persistent
