Hervé Villemade's Cheverny Rouge 'Domaine' is a light and refreshing red wine, composed of Gamay and Pinot Noir in almost equal proportions. The former imparts freshness and juiciness, thanks to carbonic maceration fermentation, while the Pinot Noir brings a silky texture and light smoky notes. The nose opens with hints of crisp red fruit and closes with vegetal notes of liquorice and hints of spice. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and velvety with very fine tannins. Perfect with a legume soup or ratatouille
Light ruby red
Hints of plum and black cherry, a slight hint of pomegranate and smoky notes on the finish with a touch of liquorice
