Podere Ortica's Chianti 'Ati' is made from the traditional blend of Sangiovese, Colorino and Canaiolo grapes. The label features a drawing of a hen caring for a chick, a symbol that echoes the meaning of the word 'Ati', which means 'mother' in Etruscan. The nose offers hints of red fruit, with interesting notes of fresh grass and earthy hints. The palate is smooth, fresh and slightly savoury with a long finish and subtle tannins. Perfect with a legume soup or a grilled steak
Dark ruby red
Notes of red fruit such as cherries and sour cherries, slight hints of violet petals and an earthy touch on the finish
Fresh and smooth, with delicate tannins and good persistence
