Already in 1000 the Abbey of Passignano was famous for producing fine wines. The Antinori family bought the 325 acres of land around the Abbey from Vallombrosa in 1987 and since then has also used the beautiful cellars of the monastery. This Chianti Classico has received prestigious awards in all the guidebooks. Wine from the wonderful flavor, supported by silky tannins and a persistent, intense and spicy bouquet.
