CHIANTI CLASSICO MAGNUM PODERE VAL DELLE CORTI 2022 DESCRIPTION

The Chianti Classico from Podere Val delle Corti is configured as a typical and balanced Chianti expression, produced according to a traditional approach within the municipality of Radda in Chianti. The Radda territory has established itself in the Chianti Classico landscape thanks to exemplary typicity wines, capable of combining the classic freshness and fragrance of the denomination with a vibrant savory-mineral vein. Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico production area, the Radda area is characterized by a strong presence of limestone in the soils, significant altitudes, and an abundance of woods, factors that positively influence the quality of the grapes.

Podere Val delle Corti Chianti Classico consists of a solid base of Sangiovese, enriched by 5% of Canaiolo grapes. The vineyards are about 20 years old, enjoy a full east exposure, and are planted on marl-limestone soils characterized by a strong presence of skeleton, at an altitude of about 450 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting, red winemaking follows with 3 weeks of alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.inox thanks to the action of only indigenous yeasts, accompanied by periodic pump-overs. The 30% of the mass remains on the skins for 4 months and the wine ages for two years in large Slavonian oak barrels of 20 and 30 hectoliters. After at least another 3 months of aging in the bottle, the final release on the market is carried out.

The Chianti Classico from the Radda reality Podere Val delle Corti has a pure ruby red color. On the nose, typical varietal aromas of red fruits emerge, blending with a light and pleasant spicy nuance.
