Antinori, one of Italy's finest wine producers; this brief introduction is enough to understand that the Riserva "Marchese Antinori", a Chianti Classico DOCG produced by the winery at the Tignanello estate, is a wine with personality, deserving of the attention of every wine lover. A red wine with a full body, where Sangiovese is complemented by an international grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose and palate work in unison, following a path of intense notes and flavours that leaves nothing to chance and promises to evolve with integrity, authenticity and complexity in the years to come.
Antinori produces the Chianti Classico "Marchese Antinori" on the Tignanello Estate, located between the Greve and Pesa valleys. Here, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown to produce the Riserva, which, after being harvested strictly by hand, ferment in steel tanks, macerating for about 9-10 days. This is followed by the ageing phase, carried out in French and Hungarian oak barriques for one year, after which the wine is bottled.
Marchese Antinori is a Chianti Classico Riserva with an intense, decisive ruby red colour in the glass. The range of aromas that greet the nose evoke broad, balanced notes, where ripe fruit, flowers and balsamic aromas reveal themselves in orderly fashion. On the palate, it is full-bodied, generous and round, with good tannic grip and a pleasantly fresh mouthfeel thanks to a savoury vein. A bottle that originates from the Antinori's Tignanello estate and consistently maintains excellent quality, playing an undisputed leading role on tables around the world.
