Antinori, one of the highest excellences related to wine production in Italy; this small and concise presentation is enough to understand that the Riserva “Marchese Antinori”, Chianti Classico DOCG produced by the winery within the Tenuta Tignanello, is a wine of personality, deserving the right consideration from every enthusiast. A red with a full body, where alongside Sangiovese we find an international grape variety, Cabernet Sauvignon; nose and palate are stimulated in unison, following a path made of intense notes and flavors, leaving nothing to chance, and promising, in the years to come, to evolve with integrity, authenticity, and complexity.
Antinori produces the Chianti Classico “Marchese Antinori” within the Tenuta Tignanello, located between the valleys of Greve and Pesa. Here, the grapes of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated from which the Riserva is obtained, which, after a strictly manual harvest, ferment in steel, macerating for about 9-10 days; then we proceed with the aging phase, carried out in French and Hungarian oak barriques for one year, after which bottling takes place.
The “Marchese Antinori” is a Chianti Classico Riserva that presents itself in the glass with an intense and determined ruby red color. The array of aromas that alternate on the nose evokes broad and balanced notes, where ripe fruit, flowers, and balsamic aromas reveal themselves in order. On the palate, it is full-bodied, generous, round, with a good tannic grip and a pleasantly fresh sip thanks to a savory vein. A bottle that is born within the Tenuta Tignanello of Antinori, and that always confirms excellent quality levels, playing the role of an undisputed protagonist on tables all over the world.
