Podere Castellinuzza's Chianti Classico Riserva comes from a selected 60-year-old vineyard in the heart of Lamole, where the Sangiovese vines grow as small trees among the chestnut trees, a natural barrier against the weather. Ageing takes place only in cement and bottle, but for almost 4 years! The wine thus remains fresh but achieves great complexity. The nose releases aromas of cherry, red fruits and violets, with subtle hints of tobacco and macerated fruit that betray the long maturation. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with perfectly integrated soft tannins and a fresh, enveloping finish. Ideal with wild boar and polenta or pappardelle with hare ragout
Brilliant ruby red
Intense aromas of cherry, plum and raspberry, development of tobacco and black tea
Harmonious, very fresh and tannic, juicy and very balanced
