
San Donatino's Chianti Classico Riserva 'Poggio ai Mori' is only produced in the best vintages, when the winery's flagship vineyard is able to fully express the energy of the terroir with balance. Long maceration, spontaneous fermentation and long ageing in oak barrels: these are the ingredients for a concentrated red wine with fresh concentration. Delicate red fruits, balsamic and haematological notes emerge on the nose, while the palate is taut, deep and supported by smooth tannins. Ideal with rich meats and traditional Tuscan dishes, it naturally accompanies peposo or Florentine steak
