Chianti Classico Riserva di Pruneto is a dry, deep and structured red wine, produced from vineyards located at an altitude of about 500 metres, based on a rigorous idea of classicism. Fermentation in cement and long ageing in large barrels define a more complex and layered style, in which Sangiovese always remains at the centre and freshness supports a structure designed to evolve over time. The nose reveals hints of undergrowth, black cherry, tobacco, leather and balsamic notes, while the palate is full, firm, dry, long and well supported by acidity. It is a wine suited to important dishes, ideal with red meats and game, perfect with a grilled ribeye steak, stewed wild boar or beef cheek
Dull ruby red with garnet reflections
Mature and complex with black cherry, orange peel, tobacco and undergrowth with leather and eucalyptus on the finish
Persistent and structured on the palate, with subtle tannins and great freshness
