Ippolito 1845's Cirò Bianco 'Mare Chiaro' is a tribute to the Ionian Sea, which laps the shores of the Greco Bianco vineyards that produce this wine. The grapes are harvested in two distinct phases: part of the harvest is early, the second part late, to enhance both freshness and structure. The nose reveals tropical fruit, followed by pear and white peach, with white flowers on the finish. The palate is fresh and Mediterranean, with a characteristic marine note on the finish reminiscent of a salty breeze. Perfect with sushi or linguine with sea urchins
