The Cirò Rosato is a well-known Calabrian wine that is extremely versatile, as it finds a place at the table thanks to the balance of its components, accompanying various recipes and ingredients, with an obvious preference for fish-based preparations. Made from pure Gaglioppo grapes, it has a mediterranean profile both on the nose and in the mouth, authentically expressing the terroir from which it comes. A label that is easy to drink and smooth, which the Librandi winery recommends enjoying now, in order to fully appreciate its aromatic fragrance.
This Cirò Rosato is produced by the Librandi winery starting from the red grape that symbolizes traditional Calabrian viticulture, the Gaglioppo. The vines of this variety are cultivated using the typical alberello and cordone speronato systems in clay and limestone soils, located near the municipality that gives its name to the denomination, Cirò. The grapes are gently pressed and the must ferments alcoholically in steel containers at a controlled temperature, briefly macerating with the skins. Always in steel tanks the wine remains for a few months to mature, until the final bottling procedures begin.
The Librandi Cirò Rosato presents itself to the eye with a beautiful color, shifting between pink and copper. The array of aromas enveloping the nose orchestrates fine and subtle notes, where fruit blends with the typical herbs of the Mediterranean scrub and flower petals. On the palate, it has a light body, dynamic and drinkable, characterized by a sip marked by a nice fresh vein. A bottle to be uncorked on various occasions with the awareness that it will delight palates with energy and drinkability.
