Reliable and stylistically impeccable, this Dut’Un from Vie di Romans is a winery of undisputed quality in the wine scene of Friuli. The Dut’Un, a balanced mix of Chardonnay and Sauvignon, proves to be a complex wine in aromas, soft and enveloping, with an endless finish.
Gianfranco Gallo has been leading the family business since 1978; through rigorous work, passionate research, and difficult and costly choices, he has established the winery in the world thanks to a decidedly refined style rich in personality. The area where the Vie di Romans vineyards are located is that of the alluvial plains around Mariano del Friuli, more or less clayey, always rich in skeleton. Gianfranco's vineyards stand out not only for the rigor of their setup but also for the considerable contribution of work necessary for the perfect ripening of the grapes.
By working with precise techniques in the vineyard, Gianfranco achieves optimal ripening of the grapes, fully expressing their aromatic potential: this approach has now become a trademark for the wines of Vie di Romans, and the Dut'Un is certainly not lacking in this regard. An unforgettable white wine, full and intense, with unmistakable aromas.
