Girolamo Russo's Etna Bianco 'Feudo' is a very fine expression of the Sicilian volcano, the indelible mark of many great Italian wines. Ageing in oak is brief, to round off the character of the Carricante but preserve those fruity, Mediterranean asperities that contribute to the wine's elegance. Yellow fruit, dried apricot and pear open the scene to briny afflatus and smoky hints, while on the palate it is silky, with great juice and the persistence of a great white. Try it with great raw milk cheeses or even fried star fish
Intense straw yellow
Apricot and peach, cooked pear, slight hints of almond and flint
Very silky, fine and juicy, very persistent
