I Vigneri’s Etna Bianco Superiore ‘VignadiMilo’ is made from 100% Carricante grapes sourced from a plot selected using the massal selection method by oenologist Salvo Foti. The vines are trained using the Etnean alberello method according to the ancient ‘magliuoli’ technique, meaning they are ungrafted and not grafted onto American rootstock. Alcoholic fermentation and ageing take place in 2,500-litre wooden barrels, whilst for bottling the winery follows the phases of the moon, in accordance with biodynamic practices. On the nose, there are hints of flowers and white fruit, notes of sage and a chalky finish. On the palate, it is elegant, with lively freshness and a savoury, lingering finish. Perfect paired with seafood spaghetti
