Tenuta di Aglaea's Etna Rosso 'Thalia' owes its name to a Sicilian dialect expression meaning 'look over there!'. The Nerello Mascalese grapes ferment in steel and mature for eight months in second-use French barriques to produce an intense red wine that is smooth and easy to drink. The nose reveals smoky aromas typical of the area, accompanied by hints of crisp red fruit. On the palate, it has a strong body with gentle, soft tannins. Excellent with mushrooms or pasta with fish sauce
Bright ruby red
Delicate aromas of fresh red fruit, such as wild strawberries and pomegranate, smoky notes and a hint of violet
Fresh and slender, fine tannins, silky and harmonious on the palate
