Nicosia's Etna Spumante Metodo Classico Brut 'Sosta Tre Santi - Sessantamesi' owes its name to the three patron saints of Trecastagni who stopped in the ancient Sicilian village where the estate is located. Produced in a limited edition, it is a 'blanc de noirs' from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the slopes of Etna. Its 60-month maturation on yeasts gives it a complex profile, with fruity hints that evolve into hints of bread crust, dried fruit and a honeyed finish. The palate expresses great elegance, marked minerality and freshness, supported by a very fine perlage and good structure
