Tenuta di Castellaro's Malvasia delle Lipari 'Euxenos' is an intense and powerful white wine, a savoury and aromatic expression of the Aeolian Islands. Made from Malvasia delle Lipari grapes grown on volcanic soils, it is vinified with indigenous yeasts in amphorae, where it finishes maturing after 10 months. The golden yellow colour introduces a bouquet of ripe fruit, with aromas of white peach and candied fruit, followed by hints of Mediterranean scrub and marine notes on the finish. The palate is full, velvety, with a marked freshness and a delicate marine flavour. Versatile in pairings, it is perfect with blue cheeses or intense Asian dishes
Deep straw yellow with golden reflections
Intense hints of fruit such as white peach, candied orange, then toasted almonds, thyme and a salty finish
Full-bodied, round and crisp, with balanced freshness and great flavour
